Many choral singers can’t read music which leads to difficulties when practicing their parts on their own between rehearsals. The ChoralPractice service and its interactive learning tracks is designed to help choirs and make choir rehearsals more efficient. The conductor no longer needs to dedicate as much time of the rehearsal to the individual parts, and can rather focus on working on the overall musical expression.

The app is developed by Mikael Rönnberg and Jan Ivar Nilsen at Mediegården in Bodø, Norway. This app is unique and the first of its kind in the world, and is programmed by Jørgen Skar.

The ChoralPractice-project is funded by Innovasjon Norge, Salten Invest and SpareBank1 Nord-Norge Kulturnæringsstiftelsen.
